Dustin L. Cobble

Lead Pastor

Pastor Dustin is a northeast Tennessee native who moved to Gallipolis in July 2022 to begin as pastor of First Church of God. He is a Prepare/Enrich facilitator, which is an evidence-based program designed for couples considering marriage and married couples looking for a fuller, richer marriage experience. Previously, he was Pastor of Worship and Youth in his hometown of Greeneville, Tennessee, and served as interim pastor in Spruce Pine, North Carolina. Immediately prior to coming to us here in Gallipolis, he was the lead audio technician at CrossPath Church, a Church of God (Anderson) church plant in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Pastor Dustin dedicated his undergraduate studies primarily to Music Education and Music Performance. He was licensed in the Church of God (Anderson) in 2017 and is ordained since 2020. In addition to his ministry involvement, he is a nationally certified pharmacy technician (though he is not currently practicing), a certified piano technician, and level one certified in Somatic Voicework™, the LoVetri Method for teaching contemporary commercial singing.

Pastor Dustin has been happily married to his wife, Allison, since July 2018, and they welcomed their first child, Raelyn Parker, in January 2023. Allison is a tremendous support to him while also serving as a musician alongside him for more than a decade. Allison is also a nationally certified pharmacy technician. They have two cats, Tango and Gizmo, both talkative orange tabbies. Their hobbies include hiking, swimming, and watching movies together.
